Content & Operations Coordinator

About the Role


This is a part-time, mostly work-from-home role supporting the day-to-day operations of a growing media project based in Medellín. You’ll play a key behind-the-scenes role helping manage social media, organize content, and keep projects moving smoothly. The work is varied and practical — ideal for someone who enjoys both creative environments and bringing structure to them.


You won’t be doing one repetitive task all day. Instead, you’ll help keep the engine running so content gets planned, published, and shared consistently.

What You’ll Be Doing


Social Media & Content Support

  • Scheduling and publishing content across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
  • Helping organize long-form content and identify clips for short-form use
  • Assisting with basic captions, posting cadence, and content tracking
  • Keeping a clear record of what’s been posted and what’s coming next
     

Organization & Operations

  • Helping manage simple content calendars and workflows
  • Supporting coordination tasks (scheduling, follow-ups, light outreach)
  • Keeping files, notes, and processes organized
  • Communicating clearly about timelines and priorities
     

This role is about reliability, follow-through, and helping ideas turn into finished, published work.

Skills & Requirements


  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear written communication
  • Reliable internet and basic tech comfort
  • Ability to manage deadlines and follow through
  • Strong English comprehension (reading and listening)
    Your spoken English does not need to be fluent, as long as you understand English well.

Location, Hours & Pay


  • Location: Medellín (mostly work-from-home)
  • Hours: ~15–20 hours per week
  • Pay: Competitive for part-time work in Medellín, paid monthly
  • Contract: Independent contractor (services agreement)
     

Growth Potential


This role starts part-time, but for the right person, it can grow over time.

As the project expands, there is real potential to take on more responsibility and evolve into a larger operations role. Growth isn’t automatic — it’s earned — but it is very real.
