For "On the Ground – Medellín"

We’re looking for a Medellín-based, part-time Field Reporter to help bring our "On the Ground" YouTube series to life.

This is a fun and adventurous role, showing viewers what life in Medellín actually feels like ... and sharing honest, grounded impressions along the way. It’s lightly playful — not scripted.

• Exploring neighborhoods, cafés, parks, and everyday places around Medellín, as well as covering live events
   
• Recording self-shot, on-location segments for On the Ground
   
• Sharing observations, context, and commentary in a natural, unscripted way
   
• Helping viewers understand the city through lived experience
   
• Occasionally collaborating with the producer or a camera operator for specific shoots

• Are comfortable and natural on camera
   
• Enjoy exploring the city and noticing small details
   
• Are curious, observant, and grounded
   
• Have a warm, approachable presence
   
• Like creative work that’s flexible, independent, and varied
   

Prior on-camera experience is not required if you have the right presence and instincts.

• This is an on-camera role for English-language content. Strong (but not perfect) English communication skills are important
   
• Your accent or grammar does not need to be perfect — clarity and comfort matter more than polish
   

• Location: Medellín
   
• Time Commitment: Part-time / flexible (likely an average of one day per week to start)
   
• Pay: Pay is negotiable based on scale, with opportunities for expansion and advancement

• Contract: Independent contractor
   
• Growth: Strong potential for expanded responsibilities and future on-camera opportunities as the channel grows
